In our pricing, we include labor, the sorting, the loading, the unloading, and the transportation of your donatable items. It’s Ez, you donate. Ez Junk Removal is a leader in the Seattle Area in eco-friendly junk removal services. In the recycling, reusing, or even repurposing of your items, Ez junk removal can do it all. We strive to avoid sending any items that do not have to end up in the landfill.

When you give us a call, we send out our dedicated team to collect your items from any place on your residence for a fee. We will sort through the items and do our absolute best to make sure the items are donated or that what we find donatable will find a home that someone else can enjoy. Ez Junk Removal has the expertise to find donatable items so that we can get the donatable items into the hands of those who are truly in need of it. Typically, donations are dropped off by other haulers at large well-known local donation centers, where plenty of your items are either re-sold for profit or go unused and taken to landfills. We avoid this route as much as possible, with years of experience we have built a large list of resources of local non-profits, people who are in need, even local schools and teachers, and much more.

We have come across many items that can be donated and reused. A key thing is to always remember that everything needs to be in good to very good condition. the donatable Items must not be broken, damaged, frilled, dirty, or incomplete to be donatable.

It is best judged by a disciplined, systematical evaluation of the items being hauled away to ensure that the items are being donated or recycled whenever feasible, we work very hard to try our best to keep items out of landfills. This is far more sustainable for our future! We always work towards meeting a landfill conversion rate of about 80%.

    Our standard junk removal services take the guesswork out of calling other companies around or different charities or donation centers and doing that work yourself. Our experts handle all the lifting and we are able to remove the items from anywhere. Our team does this at your convenience. We sort items and always try to rehome them to help our communities.

  • We charge by how much space the items take up in the truck. You are able to learn more about our pricing here.

  • Do be mindful that not every item is donatable. The goal of donating is to give away items to someone who otherwise is not able to afford them. non-profits typically make money by reselling these items.

    The items need to be in a suitable condition for them to immediately be put on the floor for sale. Charities do not offer resources to fix or repair items.

    Items need to be in a gently used state or in new condition to be able to donate. The items also need to be free from stains, tears, and rips.

    Keep in mind some items are not able to be donated in Washington including mattresses, box springs, bedding, medical equipment, and some more.

  • Ez Junk Removal is not able to provide a tax-deductible donation receipt.

    Typically, items that are in good condition are taken back to our warehouse where they are sorted and prepped for a large donation pick-up with some items are rehomed to a local family that is in need. Our goal is to keep those items out of the landfills - this is just one of the ways we accomplish this.

    We don’t always have a way to track which items go where. Most oftentimes items can go to multiple locations (if nonprofit), re-homed to someone in need, or repurposed in some way, which might not always be a non-profit.

  • Unfortunately, we are not able to offer the ability to pick and choose a specific organization or cause to donate your items. It varies greatly by location and what item’s locations will accept or are looking for at the current time.

    On average, items get sorted and go to several locations depending on what the item may be.

  • We absolutely can. When we leave your job site, we go and separate sort any items in donatable condition. Our experts are trained to efficiently load the trucks to ensure donatable items are packed tightly and can be efficiently transported.

  • We will do all the work for you. No need to mark or identify any items that are donatable. When we leave your residence, we will separate and sort any items that are in good condition.

    Typically, we ask that you please be considerate when mixing in your donation items with junk items. If you bag or box items that are dirty or have pet stains with usable items, this may contaminate donatable items.

  • Unfortunately, we are not able to pay our customers for their items. We are a full-service junk removal company.

    If you believe that your stuff still has value, we recommend our customers attempt to sell their items before contacting us to remove them.

  • If you are at work or away for the day, do not worry! We know we have busy lives and customers are busy people.

    If you’re not able to be present for your appointment, you are able to either authorize someone else to sign on your behalf or coordinate the details with us directly before or during your scheduled appointment. Our professionals can collect payment via phone or online after your project is completed. Our purpose is to make the entire process as Ez as possible for you.
